We originally built InqScribe so that we could have a better way to work with video. Since 2005, it's been used by thousands of professional transcriptionists, academics, journalists, students, and filmmakers. Give it a try, and if you have any questions feel free to drop us a line.

InqScribe is not speech-to-text. If you need an automated way to get text from video, we recommend checking out Dragon's Naturally Speaking software. But if you want to clean up your automatic transcript (or if you don't have a perfect audio file), or you want to insert timecodes into your transcript, you can always import and edit your transcript in InqScribe.
